If you are put off exercising then our “Limber and Stretch class” is the one for you! Come and join us on a Friday morning with our fitness instructor Louise for some gentle limber and stretch exercises, the class will focus on flexibility, co-ordination, cardio and balance. Kelly Bayfield & David Edward Booth Live Plus special guest Roisin O’Hagan Kelly Bayfield brings a perfect blend of classic Laurel Canyon singer-songwriters and folk singing traditions from both sides of the Atlantic. Her voice has the power to reduce any room to pin-drop quiet and she emerges into 2022 with a debut solo album of emotional depth, musical breadth and songwriting maturity. Her close collaborator and producer David Edward Booth writes songs of deep authenticity and poetry, delivered with a rich, down-tuned guitar and a weathered, unpolished honesty. Kelly and David will be playing songs from both their catalogues, along with new tracks they wrote together for Kelly's album. ...
ACT V
Act V have been meeting now for 25 years - and get involved in all things theatre! Our weekly sessions at the Headgate run on Monday mornings from 10.15am- 1pm in our friendly, supportive environment, and are open to those aged 50+ (or thereabouts!). As usual there will be a range of topics covered in the sessions. Gari Jones will be exploring the play Road by Jim Cartwright, and Richard Bland will be taking the group through some of the themes of Ben Hur – the play which he is directing in Castle Park later in May.
